Terms of Service

Last updated: October 4, 2026 · Translation provided for convenience; if there is any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

By using Mappum (www.mappum.com) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Mappum is a tool for organizing ideas on a canvas: notes, images, links, lists, spreadsheets, boards and connections. It can be used as a guest (saved only in this browser, with no cloud, no sync and no sharing) or with a Google or email login (maps saved and synced in the cloud).

2. Your account

Sign-in is done with your Google account or with an email and password. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

3. Your content

The content remains yours. You authorize us only to store it and display it to you and to whoever you choose to share it with, as needed for the service to work. You declare that you have the right to use what you upload.

4. Prohibited use

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Plans and limits

The free plan has limits on cards and on cloud image storage, shown in the account menu. The Pro plan raises those limits and also includes exporting and importing backups. Terms and prices for Pro will be communicated before any charge. Guest mode keeps data only in your browser and does not count toward these limits.

6. Availability and backups

We do our best to keep the service running and we make backups, but it is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We recommend keeping your own copy of important maps.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, lost profits or indirect damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using Mappum and delete your account at any time from the avatar menu. We may end the service or accounts that violate these terms, giving notice when possible.

9. Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Questions: eduardo.schmidte@gmail.com.
